Elzbieta was a very friendly and accommodating host, greeting us with a smile at the vaporetto station and guiding us to the apartment. The neighborhood is excellent – just a bit off the beaten path but near everything – and the experience of staying in a former grand private residence was authentic and charming. The apartment was spacious and well kept; the mattresses comfortable and bedding fluffy. In the bathroom, however, the lack of water pressure made showering unpleasant (and very brief) and washing hair impossible. Nevertheless, we highly recommend Apartment Da Carlo!
