Elzbieta was very kind and handed us the key over at the main train and bus station. From there we took the Vaporeto, which was the best way. I would not recommend to walk it with a suitcase. We had no problem to find the apartement with the discription we had received. The Apartment was well located. Just a bit of the main tourist area, but thats what we liked. But it was still central enough to be close to everything and to the Vaporeto stop. The Apartment was clean. It has one double bed and to single beds, of which one was quite small and thus more suitable for a child. Saidly there was a scuff holding outside the building and therefore we could not open the shutters and it was very dark inside and we could not really let fresh air in. There are 2 air conditioning units but they were so loud, that we had to switch them of to sleep. I guess when we would have been able to open the windows it would have been fine. So ask Elzbieta if the scuff holding has gone!
